A Place Of our Own

In May 2021, Excelling Leaders purchased a 10-acre summer resort on the edge of 3 Mile Lake in Paw Paw, Michigan. Overlooking 450 feet of sandy beach, 7 cottages have been completely redone and redesigned to provide year-round accommodations. All of the cottages face west, overlooking the lake and offering beautiful sunsets to end each day. Along with the cottages, the property has 4 full-hookup RV sites and Harmony House, where guests can gather for meals and meetings. The swimming and fishing are great, and we have a playground, bikes, kayaks, and canoes! Each season on the lake offers unique beauty.

We would love to host your event for your church, marriage or leadership retreats, family gatherings, or personal reflection time during times when we are not hosting retreats*. We are sure that you will find our Retreat center a place of peace and rest, as well as a fun place for you and your family. We believe that this is a special place where you can connect with the Father, as well as your family and friends. All of the income we receive from hosting your event helps us keep the cost down for the missionaries and their families who come here to process their last season, rest, and find new direction.
We offer special discounts for missionaries, pastors and ministry groups.
Note: our cottages and buildings are pet free and we are a smoke, vape, drug and alcohol free campus.
*If you are coming to be part of our 9 day Radiant Life Retreat, you do not need to reserve a cottage - it is already included in your retreat registration.
